Credit Card Reader Removal

1. Turn off and unplug the game.

2. Unlock the rear door and open it.

3. Reach under the center of the top of the cover to locate the rotary draw latch (see Figure 1). Turn

the wing on the latch counterclockwise to disengage.

4. Unscrew the screw located in the center of the bottom of the cover (see Figure 2). Slowly lift the

cover and disconnect the ground wire.

5. Place something in front of the game to brace the bezel once the strain relief cord is undone, then

remove the screw at the center of the marquee bezel and the 2 screws on the back of the bezel.
Remove the nut and washer securing the security bolt inside the CPU section (see Figure 3).

6. Open the monitor assembly halfway and remove the screw fastening the strain relief cord (see

Figure 4). While doing this, please be careful to not put too much strain on the cables running from
the rear bezel to the monitor. When the strain relief cord is disconnected, open the front bezel fully
and rest it on a support. This may be easier to do if the 3 cables running from the rear bezel to the
monitor are disconnected. To do so, carefully disconnect the cables where they connect to the
monitor, noting their location and orientation.

7. Remove the 2 screws that secure the monitor hinge to the front bezel on the same side of the

system where the credit card reader is located (see Figure 5), then flip the bottom of this hinge up
to gain access to the 2 screws securing the credit card reader.

Credit Card Reader Installation

1. Disconnect the credit card reader cable from the removed credit card reader (see Figure 7). Con-

nect this cable to the new credit card reader in the same fashion it was attached to the old one.

2. Place the credit card reader back into the game (where you removed the old reader from), then

resecure with the 2 screws you removed earlier (see Figure 6).

3. Fold the monitor hinge back into place over the credit card reader, and secure it with the same two

screws you removed earlier (see Figure 5).

4. Reconnect any monitor cables that you disconnected, then reattach the strain relief cord with the 1

screw you removed earlier (see Figure 4).

5. Close the monitor assembly completely, and fasten with 2 screws in the back of the bezel, 1 screw

through the top-middle of the marquee, and the security washer and nut inside the rear of the
system (see Figure 3).

8. Remove the 2 screws securing the credit card reader and remove the reader from the unit (see

Figure 6).

6. Reconnect the ground wire to the rear cover and lower the cover into place, carefully lining up the

2 tabs on the cover with the 2 mating holes on the sides of the game (see Figure 8). Make sure that
the plastic lip on the bottom of the rear cover is behind the metal base.

7. Tighten the screw securing the bottom of the door (see Figure 2). Turn the wing on the draw latch

clockwise to engage the latch (see Figure 1).

8. Close and lock the rear door.

9. Plug in and turn on the game.

10. You can now test the credit card reader’s functionality by entering Operator Setup, pressing the

Credit Card 

button, then pressing
